We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Architect to our global IT security team. You will have the opportunity to work in a truly global environment, assessing IT security risks, and address a wide range of technical and process related challenges. With buzz words ranging from Industry 4.0 and IoT to server less and DevSecOps coming true within Autoliv, the importance of implementing the right IT security controls has the attention all the way up to the board level.
Taking the next step
This role will be driving change, improving the security posture on a general level, as well as digging into the details in specific solutions for the business. You will be challenged covering anything from the corridor's at finance to the shop floor in manufacturing plants. To succeed in this role you must have a broad knowledge across many domains within IT-Security, and also a curiosity into what the business is doing.
All Cyber Security Architects share the workload of project support, such as new systems, ways of working, product or external requirements. We are also driving some initiatives ourselves where we see a need to take on a more active role, anchoring, educating, to eventually get to the actual technical and organizational security measures.
Skills are important. Continuous learning is expected in the ever evolving environment of Cyber Security. What is even more important to us at Autoliv is the mindset you bring to work every day. We expect you to have:
A passion for security and technology. Being the hacker, in the original meaning. The person who picked the old radio apart as a kid, to understand how it worked. You need to be someone who are still staying curious.
Understanding of people and processes. Finding ways to reach out to the engineer or local technician on the other side of the globe, understand their day-to-day work and how we can add security where we need it.
Strong communication skills. You will meet people at all levels, of all cultures, having all kinds of professions. Adjusting the message and how it is presented is key to be successful.
A drive for making a difference. Maintaining status quo in Cyber Security is the same as falling behind. Autoliv must improve all the time. Not only technology, but also people and processes, steering staff into making safe and secure decisions. This takes will and determination. We do celebrate success, but we must never become overly satisfied with where we are.
Mindset is key, but the seniority demands a broader level of skills and understanding. We expect you to have the following, or equivalent:
- At least 5 years of Cyber Security work experience.
- Some 5 years work experience in other IT roles (e.g architecture, development, operations) is also good.
- Hands-on experience of hosting and driving workshops (e.g threat modelling, risk assessments, business impact assessments, etc.) is required.
- One or more certifications in security and/or architecture is expected, for example CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, and major Cloud vendors architecture certifications.
It is all about collaborating
We are only as good as we can collaborate. There is no I in team. If you have questions, you ask around, gather knowledge and eventually you can make decisions. You can even make great decisions. If you are interested in this role, start practicing this already and reach out to email@example.com.
