In our team of Steering Wheels, from Sfantu Gheorghe we are seeking a highly motivated and talented Mechatronic Engineer. In this role you can contribute to the advancement of steering wheel technology, making them safer, more functional, and more comfortable for drivers.

            If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:

• Define the mechatronic/electronic components requirement to supplier, by analyzing the customer specifications;
  
• Ensure the technical development of electrical/mechatronic components (HOD, Heating, Switch) in Autoliv;
  
• Ensure the components integration in the Steering Wheel with engineering and process team support;
  
• Define the Design Validation/Product Validation (DV/PV) to be performed on components and also on the Steering Wheel level in coordination with the Steering Wheel Product Engineer Leader;
  
• Get lessons learned from previous project and ensure corrective actions implementation on new projects;
  
• Support the interface development to ensure we are able to check electronically the SW;
  
• Analyze the technical offer proposal from suppliers.

     and if you have/are:

• University Degree preferable in one of the following domains: Mechatronics / Robotics / Electronics / Automation.
• Background in mechatronic/electronic projects, Automotive or Manufacturing preferred;
• Technical knowledge about: components materials / manufacturing processes / electronics working principles/ geometrical dimensioning, tolerance;
• Programming skills in languages such as C++, Python;
• Experience with microcontrollers, PLCs, and control systems.
• Strong communication skills in english;
• Ability to maintain collaborative relationships within organization and with suppliers;
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
