To join our team you will need:
- Must have Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Must have minimum 1-3 years' Automotive Engineering experience (Seatbelt experience preferred);
- MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge;
- CATIA V5 knowledge is a plus;
- Must have English and German language skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability and willingness to travel.
Your responsabilities as a Project Engineer Leader:
- Primarily responsible for the design and development of seatbelt systems to meet all automaker specifications and governmental safety standards;
- Coordinate design and development in accordance with the Autoliv Product Development to meet all critical customer and manufacturing milestones;
- Primary technical interface to Project Manager and internal and external customers;
- Prepare and maintain robust engineering documents including DFMEA, DVP&R, Design Guidelines Document (DGD) and drawings;
- Directing design team to properly package product in CAD vehicle environment, releasing BOM’s and drawings;
- Coordinate and lead all required tolerance stack-ups and design studies to ensure proper interface with vehicle environment;
- Coordinate all testing and production validation (product robustness) to meet occupant injury and product performance criteria per established Autoliv, customer and/or regulatory requirements;
- Support all prototype part builds both internally and at the customer, as required.
