IT Support QA Specialist

If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:
- Conduct and take part on different IT topics that require broad technical IT knowledge (basic networking, protocols, servers and storage, application platforms – IIS, etc.)
- Quickly respond and effectively support troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve system errors/service outages by using specific problem management methodologies.
- Monitor and support of the IT infrastructure and network infrastructure changes from the quality perspective
- Continuous optimization of existing processes and repetitive tasks to streamline operations and create efficiencies.
- Review and maintain correct and complete documentation of service and system design, setup, configuration and use
- Follow IT Operational policies and procedures, perform work in accordance with best practices. Proactively improve IT support processes, standards, systems, and procedures when needed.
- Develop and run test plans, test cases and estimate resource consumption.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track quality issues.
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
and if you have/are:
- Completed training as IT specialist or comparable training as well as subject-related additional qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in the relevant field, preferably in an international company
- General IT knowledge and good understanding of IT environment policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request fulfilment, etc.), ITIL. Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes is a plus (6 Sigma, COBIT, etc.)
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Service Now) is a plus.
- Strong level on the following soft skills: independent work/ autonomy, personal initiative/ proactivity, perseverance, team player, analysis and communication skills
- Good English skills in spoken and written.
