Intra-Community and Import Procurement Specialist

If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:
- Registers data related to intra-community acquisitions.
- Prepares the monthly Intrastat declaration for acquisitions and deliveries.
- Submits commercial documents to the Finance Department based on a delivery note (borderou).
- Archives the documents they work with.
- Carries out specific commercial and import-export activities in accordance with all procedures related to the role, legal requirements, and company objectives.
- Translates import documents and prepares the required/mandatory documents for imports processed through customs offices other than the Brașov Customs Office.
- Sends information to divisions when customs clearance is received for urgent goods and notifies the customs broker that the goods will be picked up via special transport.
- Records imports in the tracking system.
- Checks and submits the set of import documents to the Finance Department based on a delivery note (borderou).
and if you have/are:
- Knowledge of customs and trade compliance (especially EU regulations).
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills for archiving and managing procurement records.
- Communication skills for coordinating with internal departments and external brokers.
- Problem-solving abilities for handling urgent shipments and special transport needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Language skills: English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in customs regulations, international commerce, or supply chain management are a plus.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement, import/export operations, or logistics.
- Experience working with Intrastat reporting, customs documentation, and international suppliers.
- Familiarity with EU trade regulations and import procedures through various customs offices.
